Mary Nell Troup Ezell, age 83, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, and a member of Leoma Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Floyd and Leora Rayfield Troup; two brothers, James Troup and Carl Troup; and two sisters, Dorothy Clayton and Willodean Jones.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald Ezell of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Christie Evers (John) of Lawrenceburg, TN; three grandchildren, Matthew Evers (Katie) of Hampton, VA, Jacob Evers (Lenee) of Apison, TN, and Benjamin Evers (Anna) of Columbia, SC; three great-grandchildren, Andie Catherine, Cecelia Jo, and Porter Michael; and one sister, Sue Horne (Joe) of Columbia, TN. Those serving as pallbearers are Roger Troup, Kevin Jones, Terry Springer, Matthew Evers, Jacob Evers, and Benjamin Evers.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 01, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Graveside service and interment will be conducted at Shaw Cemetery at 2:30 PM Wednesday, May 01, 2024, with Rodney Livingston officiating.
