Ted Bassham, 75, of Leoma, TN, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at his home after a prolonged illness. Born in Lawrenceburg, TN, Ted worked in auto body and was a devoted member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughter, Terri Rawdon (Doug) of Leoma, TN; brother, Bobby Bassham of Decatur, AL; sister, Dr. Pam Larcada (Dr. Alberto) of Miami, FL; four grandchildren, Blake Darnell (Koty), Teshia Darnell, Spencer Darnell (Sally), and Matt Scott (Tori); and six great-grandchildren, Anna Bradbary, Brooks Darnell, Kynlee Darnell, Emersyn Darnell, Mack Darnell, and Ruby Kate Darnell. Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Martha McMasters Bassham, and his sister, Sue Brown. Funeral services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 1:00 pm, with Gary Wayne Ezell officiating. Burial will follow in Centerpoint Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Loretto Memorial Chapel. Ted will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and community. May he rest in peace.
