Marcina Joan Pollock, age 78, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at her residence. She was a beloved homemaker and a dedicated member of Modern Woodmen and Meadow View Baptist Church. Marcina was a native of Lawrence County and will be remembered for her kindness and devotion to her family and community.
She is survived by her loving husband, Chris Pollock, and her two daughters, Beverly Pratt (Jim) and Kim Johnson (Trey), both of Lawrenceburg, TN. Marcina is also survived by her brother, Bruce Price of Rogersville, TN, four grandchildren, Derek Pratt, Storm Johnson, Logan Johnson, and Jade Pratt, as well as two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Marcina was preceded in death by her parents, Darrell and Opal Baxter Price, her sisters, Delores Powell and Darlene Ogden, three brothers, Wayne Price, Jon Price, and Joe Price, and her great-granddaughter, Sophia Grace Hensley.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM on the same day, with Lonnie Box officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Leoma, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Marcina’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
