Marjorie Nell Oliver Jones, 85, of Killen, AL, passed away on March 1, 2025 at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home. Marjorie was a cherished member of Atlas Church of Christ and was known for her unwavering love and kindness. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and her impact on those around her was profound.
Marjorie is survived by her children, Michael Jones, Athony Jones, and Dana May (Dale), her brother Don Oliver, and her grandchildren Nicholas Jones (Chelsey), Tanner Jones, Morgan May, and Cody May, as well as seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gus Clyde Oliver and Mary Barbra McGee Oliver, her husband Arvel Jones, her son Rex Jones, and her sister-in-law Joanie Oliver.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel with Bro. Miles Stutts and Bro. Tim Grigsby officiating. Marjorie will be laid to rest in Antioch Cemetery.
Marjorie’s unconditional love and Christian spirit will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. To honor her memory, the family has requested that donations be made to the church or charity of your choice.
