Mary Evelyn Russ McCormack , age 73 of Tuscumbia, AL passed away April 24, 2024 at Helen Keller Hospital after an extended illness. She was a native of Lawrence County,TN, retired art and business teacher, and of the Christian faith. Funeral Services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Bubba Cole will be officiating. Burial will follow in Blair Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
Survivors are:
Husband- Dan McCormack Tuscumbia, AL
Daughter- Danielle McCormack (Miles Lansdell) Tuscumbia, AL
Daughter in law- Robin McCormack Decatur, AL
Brother- Jerry Russ (Tracy) Westpoint, TN
Granddaughter- Rorie McCormack Decatur, AL
Several Nieces & Nephews
Preceded in death by: Parents- G.T. & Belva Todd Russ
Step-Son- Whit McCormack
Sisters- Elaine Hines, Freda Hagan, & Janice Russ
Pallbearers will be: Peyton Russ, Neyland Russ, Paul Jefferys, Wayne Jefferys,
Larry Creasy, & Toby Dunn
