Mike Kelley, 72, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2025, at St. Thomas Midtown. Born in Lauderdale County, AL, Mike was a devoted member of the Baptist faith and a passionate supporter of the University of Tennessee. He was known for his love of softball and his remarkable ability to hit the ball, earning him the nickname “bull.”
Funeral services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 1:00 pm, with Tony Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Hollis Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on the same day at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
Mike is survived by his daughter, Amelia Kelley; sister, Dottie Buttrum of Lawrenceburg, TN; brothers, James Lanny Kelley of Clifton, TN, and Anthony Lynn Kelley of Manchester, KY; as well as one granddaughter, two grandsons, four nieces, and six nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lily Risner Kelley; sisters, Eva Sue Kelley and Wanda Gail Dean; and nephew, Ronald Buttrum.
Mike will be dearly missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones. May he rest in peace.
