Monetta Ann Springer, age 92, of Loretto, TN, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024, at NHC Healthcare Brink after an extended illness. She was a dedicated homemaker and a cherished member of New Prospect Baptist Church. Monetta’s funeral service will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at 1:00 pm, with Brad Lowery officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Richardson Chapel Cemetery.
Monetta is survived by her sons, Ricky, Gary, and Scotty Springer, all of Loretto, TN, and her daughter, Debbie Powell, also of Loretto, TN. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Monetta was preceded in death by her husband, Walton “Red” Springer, her parents Turner and Verdie Williams Putman, her brothers Jim, Danny, and Kenneth Putman, her sister Edith Depoyster, and her son-in-law Donnie Powell.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
Monetta will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
