Nancy Jo Chapman, 83, of Pulaski, TN, passed away on Thursday, January 16th, 2025 at Countryside Health and Rehabilitation. She was born in Lewisburg, TN on August 22, 1941. Nancy worked for Gabriel for 30 years before pursuing a career in teaching preschool. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, finding joy in walks, word searches, collecting birds, and cheering for the Atlanta Braves.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th, 2025 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory. The funeral service will take place on Sunday, January 19th, 2025 at 1:30pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home, followed by burial at Maplewood Cemetery.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Arvil Knox Chapman, Jr, daughter, Holly Chapman, parents, Willie and Nora Lentz, and 10 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons, Arvil (Christine) Chapman III of Waynesboro, TN and Michael T. (Mary) Chapman I of White House, TN, as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Nelle Greene of Pulaski, TN, and several nieces and nephews.
