Susie Sides Howell, 84, of Pulaski, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, February 6th, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center. She was born on August 22nd, 1940, in Pulaski, Tennessee. Susie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished caring for her family. She was renowned for her culinary skills, particularly her cinnamon rolls, and found joy in tending to their farm and quilting.
Visitation will be held from 12:00pm until 2:00pm on Sunday, February 9th, 2025, at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 2:00pm in the chapel. The burial will take place in the Westside Cemetery in Leoma, Tennessee.
Susie was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Ralph Emerson Howell, her parents Bennie Calvin and Bythenia Slater Sides, and her siblings Harlie, Deual, Gary, Viva Mae, and Edena.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Howell Holland of St. Louis, MO, her son, Joel Howell of Nashville, TN, six grandsons, Benjamin, Noah, and Jackson Holland, and Blake, Grant, and Clay Howell, her sister, Syble Longshore of Leoma, TN, her brother, Barry Sides of AL, and several nieces and nephews.
Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Susie Sides Howell. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
