Nellie Ann Williams Urban, 94, of Loretto, TN, passed away at her home on July 11, 2025 surrounded by her family. Nellie was a retired Seamstress and a member of Leoma Church of Christ.
Nellie is survived by her sons Hershel Wayne Urban (Beverly) of Five Points, TN, and Dennis Keith Urban (Heather) of Loretto, TN, along with her grandchildren Leslie, Daniel, Sarah, Lydia, Bailey, and Gage, and great-grandchildren Melody, McKenzie, Madison, Emma, Thomas, Brodie, Sadie, and Abigail. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Joan Urban of Florence, AL, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lonas Hubert Williams and Alice Aline Flatt Williams, her husband Herschel “Dock” Urban, her son Gaylon Urban, her brothers George W. Williams, and sisters Reba I. Loyd, Carrie W. Martinez, Rosa N. Gordon, Alice F. Quillen, and Betty A. Bradley.
Visitation will be Monday, July 14, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel with Rodney Livingston and Todd Carter officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Allen, Jeff McIntyre, Daniel Urban, Ryan Krick, Mike Davis, and Matt Perry.
The family would like to especially thank Volunteer Hospice for their care and support during Nellie’s illness. Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
