Phillip Lee Gibbons, age 44, of Leoma, TN passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026. Phillip was born on April 28, 1981. He was a 1999 graduate of Lawrence County High School. He was employed by Modine and was a member of Thousand Hills Cowboy Church. He enjoyed the cattleman life and the rodeo life. His favorite pastime was taking his boys hunting, fishing, and the family times they spent together on the boat, at the fields, and making memories.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Gibbons.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly Gibbons; three sons, Tate Goodwin, Tanner Gibbons, and Tipton Gibbons; one daughter, Amber Gibbons; father-in-law, David Hine (Peggy); and one grandchild, Waylon Knox Hallmark. Those serving as pallbearers are Brandon Chapman, Shawn Chapman, Paul Roberts, Doug Riley, Greg Bishop, and Josh Riddle.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Thursday, March 19, 2026, with Nathan Duncan and Boomer Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Gum Springs Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
