Phillip Howard Burbank, 57, of Killen, AL, passed away on August 10, 2025, at NAMC in Florence, AL. He was a dedicated Heavy Machinery Operator for Lauderdale County Road Department and a cherished member of Hickory Flat Freewill Baptist Church. Phillip was also known for his service as a member of the Killen Volunteer Fire Department and for his passion as a Singer/Songwriter.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dottie Adams Burbank, his son Danny Burbank, his daughter Heather Hood (Nick), his brothers Chris Burbank and Ray Burbank, and his sisters Lisa Burbank Woodham and Angie Burbank Tucker. Phillip is also survived by his adored grandchildren: Austin Barrett, Annah Goodwin, Laikyn Staggs, Kairi Burbank, Jayla Staggs, Raylan Hood, and Carolyne Hood, as well as his great-grandchild, Leanna Summerhill.
Phillip was preceded in death by his father, Rayford Burbank, his mother, Marilyn Peden Crowden, and his grandchild, Zander Goodwin.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 P.M. with Roger Troup and Eric Barnett officiating. Burial will take place in Hale Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Austin Barrett, Christopher Burbank, Jason Burbank, Nick Hood, Joey Goodwin, and Adam Faulkner. Honorary pallbearers will be Raylan Hood, Clayton Barnett, and Christian Barnett.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
