Ronnie Hayes, 80, of Pulaski, TN, passed away on Monday, June 9th, 2025. He was born in Pulaski on September 17th, 1944. Ronnie was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who cherished family gatherings and holidays. He had a passion for traveling out west, farming, and watching westerns. Ronnie was also known for his love of bourbon collecting and woodworking.
He was a caring and devoted husband, making his wife, Nancy Jo Hayes, his top priority. Ronnie is survived by his daughter Tracy Wallace (Kyle) of Pulaski, TN, sons Jeremy Hayes (Carmen) of Pulaski, TN, and Steven Hayes of Alabama. He also leaves behind grandchildren Chandler Wallace (Taylor), Kate Rohling (Cade), Ashlyn Hayes, and Rhett Hayes, as well as great-grandchildren Ellison Wallace, Harris Rohling, Emmaline Rohling, and baby Wallace.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Nancy Jo Hayes, his parents, John Franklin and Mary Velma Moore Hayes, his brother, John Franklin Hayes, Jr, and sisters, Melba Hunt, Joyce Augustine, and Frances Rothenberg. He is also survived by his brother, Charles Allen Hayes (Jean) of Nashville, TN, fur baby Cricket, and many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th, 2025 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory, followed by a memorial service at 5:00pm in the chapel. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Ronnie Hayes.
