George Grady Lee “Big Abb” Williams, age 49, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, former employee of Murray Ohio, and attended Leoma Church of Christ. He was a member of the Grave Robbers Car Club, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Junior and Ruby Owens Williams; two brothers, Junior Lewis Williams and Dalton Odell Williams; four sisters, Janice Nail Williams, Effie Gonzales, Judy Rebecca Williams, and Mary Alice Williams; and one nephew, Roscoe Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Kelly Williams; three brothers, Charles Dwayne “Howard” Williams, Eddie “Flash” Williams, and Robert “Hoppy” Williams; one sister, Angela Williams, all of Lawrenceburg, TN; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, February 28, 2024, and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Friday, March 1, 2024, with Grant Pavy officiating. Interment will follow at Union Hill Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
