Nancy Jo Hayes, 73, of Pulaski, passed away on January 8, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 13, 1951, to Rufus (Pete) and Pauline (Polly) Thurman White. Nancy was a devoted homemaker and farmer, with a passion for flowers, gardening, and animals, as evidenced by her participation in cattle showing competitions and her numerous fur babies.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Martha Ann Daughtry, and brother-in-law, Jerry Daughtry. Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Ronnie Hayes; sons Jeremy Hayes (Carmen) and Stevie Hayes; daughter Tracy Wallace (Kyle); sister Mary Parker; grandchildren Chandler Wallace (Taylor), Kate Rohling (Cade), Ashlyn Hayes, and Rhett Hayes; great-grandchildren Ellison Wallace, Harris Rohling, and baby Rohling; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, with the funeral service to follow at 1pm on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at the same location. Interment will take place at New Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Hope Cemetery Fund, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, or the Giles County Humane Association. Nancy will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
