RV Jackson, 89, of Westpoint, TN, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at NHC Lawrenceburg after a brief illness. He was a native of Minor Hill, TN, and a farmer. RV is survived by his wife, Madgie Stutts Jackson; son, Ricky Jackson (Lesia); daughter, Shirley Simbeck; brother, Ronald Jackson (Jean); sister, Letha Mae Williams; 4 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, JW & Cleo Wise Jackson, stepmother Beulah Franklin Jackson, son-in-law Steve Simbeck, and brother James Evans “Bo” Jackson. Funeral services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 3:00 pm, with Jerry McLain officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on the same day at Loretto Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Blair Cemetery. RV will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
