Shirley Ann Bennett, 78, of Summertown, TN, passed away on October 11, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. Shirley was a retired employee of Dura Automotive Systems and a devoted member of Summertown Baptist Church. She was a loving and adventurous soul, finding joy in supporting her family and exploring the world.
Shirley is survived by her husband, William Larry Bennett, Sr.; sons, Jimmy Wayne Johnson (Lanesia) and William Larry Bennett, Jr. (Shannon); sister, Betty Jennings (Terry); brothers, Jerry Lanier and Gary Lanier; and four cherished grandchildren, Lexi Johnson, Cameron Johnson, Jackson Bennett, and Callie Bennett.
Her life will be celebrated at Neal Funeral Home, with visitation on October 14, 2025, and funeral services on October 15, 2025. Shirley’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be dearly missed.
