Tony Gene Staggs Sr., a 67-year-old resident of Loretto, Tennessee, passed away on February 27, 2025, at his home following a sudden illness. Originally hailing from Savannah, Tennessee, he had a career in tool and die manufacturing and was a devoted member of the Baptist faith.
A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Walker Cemetery, where Ricky Nelson will officiate the ceremony. Following the service, interment will take place at the same cemetery.
Tony is survived by three sons: TJ Staggs from Huntsville, Alabama; Matt Staggs from Lewisburg, Tennessee; and Nathan Gann from Athens, Alabama. He also leaves behind three grandchildren who will cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Georgia Blount Staggs, as well as his brother, Timothy Staggs.
