Troy Edward Christopher, Sr.

Troy Edward Christopher, Sr., age 57, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, February 8, 2025. He was a native of Cincinnati, OH, a floor installer for Mike Stafford, and of the Baptist Faith.

He was preceded in death by his infant granddaughter, Ciara Marie Victoria Wyatt McGee.

He is survived by his father, Troy Short; his mother, Edna Christopher Grimes of Lawrenceburg, TN; his wife, Deborah Carole Jones Minor Christopher of Lawrenceburg, TN; two sons, Robert Edward Christopher of Pulaski, TN, and Troy Edward Christopher, Jr. of KY; one daughter, Jessie Marie McGee of Pulaski, TN; one step-son, Jesse Minor (Brenda) of Loretto, TN; two step-daughters, Rebecca Garcia (Redd) of Ethridge, TN, and Shawnda Phillips (Kenny) of Cornersville, TN; eight grandchildren; and eight step-grandchildren.

Those serving as pallbearers are Martin (Redd) Garcia, Parker Crandall, Chris Payne, Matt Payne, Zean Otey, Willie McDow, Brodee Moore, and Jeremiah Hershberger.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Friday, February 14, 2025, with Jeff Vanlandingham officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
