Betty Jean Pharr, 75, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at NHC Healthcare Lawrenceburg after a prolonged illness. Betty was a beloved member of the community, known for her dedication to her family and her passions. She was a native of Lawrence Co, TN, and retired from Jones Apparel. Betty was a cherished member of Hope Botanical Gardens and found joy in dancing at WLX Country Café and reading.
A memorial service will be held at Lakeview Baptist Church on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 3:00 pm, with Jerry Clayton officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on the same day at Lakeview Baptist Church.
Betty is survived by her son, David Pharr (Debbie) of Lawrenceburg, TN; daughters, Barbie Miller (Greg) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Betsy Gambrell (Wade) of Holly Creek, TN; brother, Jackie Bonee of Lawrenceburg, TN; sisters, Margaret “Pennie” Bonee of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Patsy Pope of Ethridge, TN; grandchildren, Evan Bishop, Brianna Turner, Collin Miller, James England, Pete Miller, and Rob Miller; great-grandchildren, Riley Pittman, Jaxon Bishop, Rory Miller, and Andie Miller; 2 great aunts; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Pharr; parents, Calvin and Bettie Lyons Bonee; brothers, Charlie Bonee and Ray Bonee; and sister, Arlene Hulen.
The family extends their gratitude to the staff of NHC Brink Lawrenceburg. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hope Botanical Gardens or The American Cancer Society.
