Bobby Joe Wright, 83, of Greenhill, passed away February 6, 2024, at North Alabama Medical Center. He was a self-employed carpet installer and attended Gray’s Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include:
Wife: Patsy Holden Wright
Daughters: Donna Gray(Wayne), Wanda Bogus(Audie) & Sonda Wright(Tim)
(6) Grandchildren; (11) great grandchildren
Preceded in death by:
Parents: Buford Ben Wright & Lucille “Lucy” Stutts Wright
Brothers: Oscar Wright, James Wright, John C. Wright & Webb Wright
Sister: Ann Dean
Visitation will be Friday, February 9, 2024, from 11:00am – 1:00pm, at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm, in the funeral home chapel, with Caleb Gooch & Caleb Gray officiating. Burial will be at Emmaline Stutts Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Tim Wright, Caleb Gray, Kody Butler, Travis Howard, Danny Wright & Jeff Holden.
The family would like to say a special thank you to our precious grandsons, Caleb (Whitney) & Kody(Anna) for always being here for their papaw and helping with anything he needed, and Tim Wright, a son-in-law that was always here for us both.
