Barbara Jean Davis, 74, of Florence, passed away on May 17, 2025, at North Alabama Medical Center. She was a dedicated worker, having held various jobs including a union operator at Colbert Steam Plant. Barbara was a faithful member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her brothers J.C. Davis (Pat), Ronnie Davis, Donnie Davis, sister Shirley Davis Allen, and sisters-in-law Jean Burbank Seymore and Bonnie Davis.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents John Benjamin Davis and Alaska Elaine Stutts Davis, brothers John Leanard Davis, Edward “Shorty” Davis, James “Ponice” Davis, Billy Joe Davis, and sisters Betty Davis Stutts and Judy Davis Springer.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025, from 11:00am – 1:00pm, at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Miles Stutts officiating. Barbara will be laid to rest at Center Hill Cemetery.
