Charles Glynn Smith, 79, of Loretto, TN, passed away on November 1, 2025, at NHC Healthcare Brink after a prolonged illness. He was a retired employee of M-Fine and a devoted member of the Baptist faith. Charles was a native of Lawrence County, TN.
Funeral services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 1:00 pm, with Mahlon Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Point Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on the same day at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
Charles is survived by his son, Scott Smith (Janessa) of Loretto, TN, and his daughters, Glenda Lang (Stanley) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Jayla Wilson (Bobby) of Loretto, TN. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Skillian Smith, his son, Cecil Smith, and his sister, Cathy Adams.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to St. Jude in honor of Charles Glynn Smith. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
