Colene Butler Willis, age 89, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, February 9th, 2025 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg. Colene was born on December 3rd, 1935 to the late Harvey and Luanna Butler in Holly Creek, TN. Colene loved being a mother and a caretaker, and kept several children within her community throughout the majority of her adult life. She was a member of Meadow View Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, T.A. Willis; 7 siblings. She is survived by her son, Tim Willis; sister, Corene Gambrell; brothers, Doris Butler and J.D. Butler; several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be held at Mt. Nebo Cemetery in St. Joseph, TN, on Thursday, February 13th, 2025 beginning at 2:00 p.m. The family would like to extend a deep gratitude to Missy, Donna, and the entire staff of Caris for the love and care they provided during this difficult time.
