Jerry G. Butler, 78, of Killen, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at NAMC. He was a devoted member of Elgin Methodist Church. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Careen Campbell Butler, and his brother, Troy Butler.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Ann Marie Butler; sons, Kyle Butler (Dawn) and Rodney Butler (Jennifer); grandchildren, Blair Holden (Dustin), Cody Butler (Whitney), and Jesse Butler (Charley); great-grandchildren, Brody Butler, Avery Holden, Bentlee Butler, Beckham Mitchell, Tyke Butler, and Elsie Kate Butler; brother, Joey Butler (Belinda); sister-in-law, Dixie Butler; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 12-2 PM at Elkins East Chapel, with the funeral service to follow at 2 PM in the Chapel with Bro. Barry Clayton officiating. Burial will take place at Barkley-White Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Cody Butler, Jesse Butler, Brody Butler, Curt Butler, Cory Butler, Dustin Holden, and Jeff Masonia. Honorary pallbearers will be Beckham Mitchell and Tyke Butler.
