Gary Brent Looney, age 85, passed away on August 3, 2025. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, known for his unwavering faith, loyalty, and love for his family. Gary is survived by his wife of 63 years, Faye Franklin Looney; his son, Michael Brent Looney (Kelli); and his daughter, Kimberly Faye Laws (David Springer). He was a proud grandfather to Tanner Looney (Katelin), Abby Laws Clifft (Jake), and Jacob Laws, and a cherished great-grandfather to Josslin Looney, Conrad Looney, Olive Clifft, and Samuel Clifft. Gary was a faithful member of Loretto First Baptist Church and was involved in various organizations. He will be remembered for his joyful spirit, love for others, and dedication to his family. Visitation and funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Loretto First Baptist Church, with burial at Restview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to support macular degeneration research. Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
