Tyler Brent Powell, 38, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on January 21st, 2026 at his home. Born on July 31st, 1987, Tyler was a graduate of Summertown High School and held a Master’s Degree from Martin Methodist College. He worked at the Lawrenceburg Country Club Pro Shop and was known for his love of video games, sports, and animals. Tyler is survived by his mother, Rosemary Jenkins; brother, Cody Powell; niece and nephew, Brentley and Espen Powell; grandmother, Cynthia Freemon; uncle, Jeff Jenkins; special friend, Bret Holden; and his canine companion, Sarge. A memorial service will be announced at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral service expense, the American Diabetes Association, or any local sporting organizations in his honor. Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home is handling all final arrangements. Tyler will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and Discord community.
