Gena Lynn Rogers Prince, 63, of Athens, AL, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on February 27, 2024. Gena was a retail associate at Winn-Dixie Supermarket in Athens, a member of West Highland Baptist Church in Athens, AL, and also a member of the Humane Society. She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN and grew up in the New Prospect community.

Son: Christopher Eric Prince and wife Starlite of Columbia, TN
Granddaughter: Evelyn Marcrom
Brother: Darrell Radford Rogers
She was preceded in death by:
Parents: James Harvey Rogers and Eunice Lorene Robinson Rogers
Visitation will be Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home chapel with Greg Lauderback officiating. Burial will be in West Side Cemetery.
