George Temple, 59, of West Point, TN, passed away on November 24th, 2025 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems in Lawrenceburg. Born on July 11th, 1966 in Galion, OH, George was the son of the late Gerald Temple and Sharon Thompson. He worked as a General Laborer and Handyman and was known for his love of mushroom hunting, rescuing dogs, and spending time with his family and friends.
George is survived by his wife of 25 years, Leona Temple; children, Eva Walker, Eric Walker, and Emily Lester; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and special nephew, Justin Spillman. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Vicky and Annette.
A memorial service will be announced at a later time. Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home is honored to be handling all final arrangements. George will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
