James “Earl” McGee, of Killen, went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 9, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 11, 2026, 11 AM to 1 PM at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM in the chapel with Bro. Jimmy Roberts officiating. Burial will be at Springfield Cemetery in Rogersville.
Earl was born on November 2, 1948, in Lauderdale County, Alabama. He was preceded in death by parents, John Cletus Edward (Pete) and Peggy McGee; brothers, Gary and Barry McGee; and nephew Shannon Clyde McGee.
Earl is survived by three sisters, Caroly Craig, Wanda Dotson (Harold), and Myra McDougal; brother, Donny McGee (Connie); numerous nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Dotson, Richard Inman, Jeremy McDougal, Kristopher McDougal, Jessie McGee, and Mark McGee.
