Jimmy Dixon Cross, 67, of Loretto, TN, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Helen Keller Hospital. Born in Decatur, AL, Jimmy was a retired veteran of the United States Army, having served in Desert Storm.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia “Cindie” Cross of Loretto, TN, his step-son Dustin Cross, and his two sisters Glenda Cross and Amy Cross. He is also survived by his two step-grandsons, Layne Cross and Elijah Cross.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Mary Elizabeth Dickson Cross, his brother Floyd Taylor Cross, and his sister Neysa Hamilton.
Jimmy will be remembered for his dedicated service to his country and his love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held in his honor at a later date.
