Jimmy Harlan, age 80, of Lexington, AL, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at his home. Born in Woodlake, CA, Jimmy was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and worked in maintenance at Wise Alloys. He was a devoted member of the Primitive Baptist faith.
Funeral services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 1:00 pm, with T.R. Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Bonnertown Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on the same day at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Margie Harlan of Lexington, AL, his daughter Tracy Futrell (Jeff) of Florence, AL, and his sister Donna Williams (Stanley) of Rogersville, AL. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Will Futrell and Coby Elizabeth Futrell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ruby Womack Harlan, and his sister Brenda Fulks.
Jimmy will be remembered for his dedication to his country, his faith, and his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
