Johnie Paul Goodwin, 97, of Lexington, passed away May 28, 2024 at El Reposo Nursing Facility. He was retired from the Lauderdale County Board of Education, a manager at A&P Groceries, attended Hickory Flat Freewill Baptist Church, and a United States Army Veteran.

Niece: Helen Grossheim
Grandchildren: Brigitte G. Winchester (Ken) & J. Casey Goodwin
Great grandchildren: Brayden Winchester & Briana Winchester

Wife: Mary Olene Holden Goodwin
Parents: Johnie Arnold Goodwin & Lillie Goodwin
Visitation will be Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 11:00am – 1:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm, in the funeral home chapel, with Tom Reeves officiating. Burial will be at Hickory Flat Cemetery.
