Paul R. Rooker, 69, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on January 28th, 2026 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Born on November 21st, 1956, Paul was a beloved son of the late Elbert and Francis Rooker. He worked in various fields, including as a school bus driver and at Hardees. Paul enjoyed riding in his electric wheelchair, making new friends, and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia “Pat” Rooker, sister Linda Green, and brothers Wayne, Ronnie, Kenneth, and James “Jim” Rooker. Paul is survived by his daughter, Jessica Ingram, grandchildren Cody, Alex, and Jade, siblings Kathy Taylor and Pamela Lynch, aunt Barbara Mitchell, uncle Charles Martin, several nieces and nephews, and his caregiver, Jan. A memorial service will be held at Flatwoods Freewill Baptist Church on March 14th, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Brother Gary Crosby and Brother Tracy Adams will officiate. Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
