Judith Dianne James, 60, of Rogersville, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. She was a devoted member of the Baptist faith and a cherished sister, cousin, aunt, and friend to many. Judith dedicated 28 years of her life to the Lauderdale County School System and was a proud 1983 graduate of Lauderdale County High School.
She is survived by her brother, Danny James (Carolyn); nieces, Lori James and Lisa Willis (Donny); nephew, Chris James (Kala); great nieces Darby Willis, Emma and Anna Mae James; and great nephews, Devan Willis and Cooper James. Judith was preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Norma Putman James, and her brothers, Terry James and Jerry James.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 9-11 AM at Elkins East Chapel, with funeral services to follow in the chapel, officiated by Rev. Stan Keifer. The burial will take place at Harvey Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Judith will be dearly missed and remembered for her kindness, dedication, and love for her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
