Kenneth Womble, age 80 of Ethridge, passed away Sunday June 23, 2024 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Kenneth was born in Lawrenceburg, TN on October 11, 1943 to John Allen and Opal Manning Womble. He was a retired truck driver for Sharp Transport and was a member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church. Kenneth loved in this order…. mules, horses, and people. He was a confident entertainer and friend who loved to talk. When meeting someone new he had a special knack for learning and remembering everything about them. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, brother Johnny Womble; sisters Helen Gwin and Joyce Anne Womble; and niece Cindy Newton.
Visitation will be 11am-1pm Thursday June 27, 2024 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with a Graveside Service following at 2pm at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Sandra Womble of Ethridge; daughters Poppy Womble of Hohenwald, Kelly Davis (David) of Decaturville, Wendy Davis (Michael Barnett) of Lewisburg; sisters Betty Shultz (Bill) of Leoma, Wanda Bennett (Eddie) of Franklin, Donna Clifft (Joe Holt) of Ethridge, and Pam Peters of Ethridge; grandchildren Karissa Grippi, Brandon Staggs, Nathan Escue, Lindsey Barron, Brittany Manganiello, Rachel Davis, Cameron Graves, and Catherine Davis; great grandchildren Tiana Corbin, Emma Grippi, Avery Grippi, Kinley Barron, Eli Escue, Mason Barron, Sophia Manganiello, Elektra Davis-Hawes, and A.J. Manganiello; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
