George Reynolds

George Reynolds, 68, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away on Thursday, March 20th, 2025. He was born in Giles County, TN on October 14th, 1956. George was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying activities such as fishing, hunting, and training bird dogs. George also found joy in gardening, cooking for his loved ones, and planting flowers.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 26th, 2025, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory. An additional visitation will take place on Thursday, March 27th, 2025, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at the same location, followed by the funeral service at 1:00pm in the chapel. The burial will follow in the Gilbert Cemetery.

George was preceded in death by his parents, Waymon and Katherine Gilbert Reynolds, and his sister, Helen Reynolds. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Reynolds of Fayetteville, TN; sons, Corey Reynolds of Houston, TX, Demarcus Hamilton of Fayetteville, TN, and Curtis Hamilton of Decatur, AL; daughter, Tamika Hamilton of Muscle Shoals, AL, and Traci Elder of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Marva (George) Gentry of Prospect, TN, Anna Reynolds of Indianapolis, IN, Debra McGrone of Pulaski, TN, and Cynthia (Vernon) Luter of Pulaski, TN; brothers, W.B. (Linda) Reynolds and Eddie Reynolds of Prospect, TN; uncle, James Gilbert of Goodspring, TN; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for George Reynolds. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
