Mary Lucille Stanley, 80, of Anderson, Alabama, passed away on April 30, 2025, at her home. She was born on April 4, 1945, in Colbert County. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Stanley, and her parents, Clarence and Lucille McCollum.
She is survived by her children, Angela Roberson, Veronica Dabbs, Natalie Dabbs, and Jerry Jones, as well as her grandchildren, Christy Sims, Chasity Smith, Monica Ray, Tia Smith, April Hines, Brittany Ray, Jessica White, Chad Jones, and Brad Jones. Mary also leaves behind 31 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Ray McCollum of Athens, Alabama, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5th, at 11:00 am at Elkins East Chapel with Brother Bill Barlow officiating. Following the service, Mary will be laid to rest at Tri Cities Memorial Gardens in Florence, Alabama. Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
