Roy Floyd Doyle Guy, 64, of Rogersville, AL, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, AL. Roy was a native of Mascotte, FL, and a self-employed mechanic. He found joy in fishing, spending time with family, playing the guitar, and restoring cars.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Guy; his mother, Silvy Lawson; one daughter, Carrie Black; one son, Corey Guy; two sisters, Ruby Lawson and Willie Young; three brothers, Jerry Lawson, Freddie Lawson, and Ken Spolarich; and one grandchild, Madison Swearingen. Roy was preceded in death by his father, George W. Guy, Sr.; one sister, Debra Anderson; and one brother, George Guy, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM on the same day, with Jerry Roebuck officiating. Interment will follow at New Salem Cemetery in Summertown, TN. Roy will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
