Willa Frances Gatlin of Goodspring, TN passed away on Thursday, May 23rd, 2024 at Maury Regional Medical Center. She was born in Minor Hill, TN on March 18th, 1934 and was 90 years old.
Frances was a loving mother, and aunt. She loved watching western shows, especially Gunsmoke, going out to eat, listening to gospel music, and going shopping at the mall. She loved to talk on the phone with Evelyn in her free time. She enjoyed tail riding in her younger years and she and her husband, Thomas, where some of the first members of the Minor Hill saddle club.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 24th, 2024 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 25th, 2024 at 11:00am in the chapel of Bennett-May & Piece Funeral Home.
The burial will be at Minor Hill Cemetery.
Frances was preceded in death by, her parents, Rick and Gracie McCafferty Burgess, husband, Thomas E. Gatlin, Daughter, Theresa Ann Gatlin, Brothers, Floyd Burgess, Kenneth Burgess, Herbert Burgess, Millard Burgess, and Sister, Hattie Will Foust.
She is survived by,
Her son, Tommy (Paula) Gatlin of Minor Hill, TN
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
