Earnestine C Hughes, age 77, of West Point, TN passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lawrenceburg. She was a faithful member of the Church of God. She was a loving wife and mother, a wonderful source of encouragement and an outstanding woman of faith. She always found the good in people. She loved flowers, and enjoyed sitting on her porch.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Olan and Ruth Clanton; brother, Ronnie Wayne Clanton; son, Houston Hughes; husband, Freddy Hughes.
She is survived by her niece, Lura McCandless Renfro.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Rochelle Cemetery.
