Charles Kenneth Mobbs Jr., age 66, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, May 5th, 2024 at St. Thomas West in Nashville, TN. Charles was collectively known to his friends as “Ken” or “Kenny”. He retired as a service technician for Sullivan’s automotive in Lawrenceburg. He loved to cook, and would go on to turn his love for cooking into a successful barbecue business. He was a certified gunsmith for over a decade and enjoyed reloading ammunition as well as repairing and restoring firearms. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching NASCAR and football, woodworking, cutting grass on his lawn mower, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his loving family and friends. He was a member of Ethridge Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Kenneth Mobbs Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn Mobbs; children, Justin Bramel and Kaitlin Mobbs; mother, Floy Mobbs; grandchild, Kenzie Bramel; several cousins and special friend, Bobby Taylor.
Visitation will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church on Saturday, May 11th, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The memorial service will follow the visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. Brother Reggie Coleman will be officiating.
