Charles Richard Potts, 67, of Loretto, TN, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, AL. He was a retired truck driver and had a passion for horseback riding. Charles was a native of Wayne County, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Charity Franks Potts, as well as his sisters, Faye Keidre and Susie Hendrix, and brothers, Harold Potts, Larry Potts, and Jerry Potts.
Charles is survived by his wife, Penny Phillips of Loretto, TN; son, Daniel Potts of Lawrenceburg, TN; grandsons, Evan Sullivan of Loretto, TN, and Thaxston Potts of Lawrenceburg, TN; sisters, Beatrice Sircey of Smyrna, TN, and Joyce Wynne of Pulaski, TN; brother, Robert Potts of NC; and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Charles Richard Potts.
