Clay Price Dean, 61, of Loretto, passed away on February 3, 2026, at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, TN. He was a beloved father, brother, and friend to many. Clay was a dedicated diesel mechanic, truck driver, and a proud veteran of the United States Army. He had a passion for music, playing the guitar, cooking, and working on his old truck. His infectious smile and sense of humor brightened the lives of all who knew him.
Clay is survived by his loving daughter Kristen Dean, brothers Rick Dean and Mark Dean (Nan), sisters Kellie White (Jeff Duplantis) and Amy McNatt (Chris), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, B.C. “Jim” Dean, Jr. and Inell Corum Dean.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Clay will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace.
