Leldon Clay Shaffer, 81, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Monday, May 5th, 2025 at his home. Born on July 31st, 1943 to the late Richard and Bertha Shaffer, Leldon dedicated 38 years of his life to Murray Ohio before retiring in 2000. He was a devoted member of Salem Church of Christ and the Crossroads of Dixie Antique Tractor Engine Club. Leldon cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and enjoyed outdoor activities such as driving his tractor and golf cart, gardening, and riding the trails on the farm. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Joan Shaffer, sister Wilma Bowers, niece Patricia Bowers Eifert, nephew Randy Bowers, great niece Alexandra, great nephew Patrick, and a host of friends. The family extends warm gratitude to the staff of Goodworks at home and Arden Hospice for their loving care and support. Visitation will be held at Salem Church of Christ on Friday, May 9th, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service officiated by Brother Keith Barnett and Randy Bowers. Interment will take place at a later date at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens. Leldon will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
