Dennis Harold Jenkins, 73, of Florence, passed away on February 9, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a beloved ALFA insurance agent for 30 years and had an incredible knowledge of music. Dennis was known for his friendly nature, love for golf, and devotion to his family, church, and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Debbie Jenkins, daughters Paige Jenkins Smith and Erin Jenkins White, granddaughters Reese Miller and Kennedy Miller, grandsons Gabriel Pozo and Kyler Pozo, sister-in-law Stephanie Cavendar, nephews Gary, Greg, Jeff, and Chad Jenkins, and Jerry Eledge, and niece Susanne Eledge.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents O.B. Jenkins and Lorene Behel Jenkins Thompson, brothers Ed, Doyle, and Bobby Jenkins, and sister Doris Jenkins Eledge.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Greenhill Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. The burial will take place at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will include Jeff Jenkins, Chad Jenkins, Greg Jenkins, Gary Jenkins, Jerry Eledge, Gabriel Pozo, and Kyler Pozo.
