Gwendolyn Jean Trapp, 76, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on October 21, 2025, at Southern TN Regional Health System. Gwendolyn was a beloved homemaker and a devout member of the Baptist Faith. She was known for her love of sewing, quilting, and knitting, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her favorite grandchild, Ryder Kirk.
Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Arnold and Clara Lee Favors Martin, her daughter Frances Lee Rogers, and her siblings Faye Cates, Douglas Martin, and Charlotte Dollar. She is survived by her four children, Robert Dickey (Glenda), Richard Dickey (Kassie), Tracey Kirby, and Gena Kirk (Tim), all of Lawrence County, TN. She also leaves behind fourteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, two sisters, Robbie Roe of OH and Pat Fowler of Lawrence County, TN, two brothers, Delano Martin and Stewart Martin, her special friend Barbara Dickey, and her special niece Christy Cates.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Funeral services will be held at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM on the same day, followed by interment at Shady Grove Cemetery in Ethridge, TN.
