Kathy Gail Hollis, age 74, of Iron City, TN, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at her home after an extended illness. She was born in Savannah, TN, and was a member of the Body of Christ faith. Funeral services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 2:00 pm, with Jacob Dale officiating. Burial will follow in Brannon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
She is survived by her son, Steve Balentine of St Joseph, TN, and her daughters, Kayla Pigg and Regina Balentine, both of St Joseph, TN. She is also survived by her sister, Lois Swinea of Florence, AL, as well as 4 grandchildren: Rocky Balentine, Lydia Balentine, Molly Hay, and Ashley Balentine, and 1 great-grandson, Micah Balentine.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Maybelle McDaniel Brannon, and her siblings: James Brannon, Wilburn Lee Brannon, Hazel Lambert, R.C. Brannon, Helen Pennington, Winnie Cummings, Gladys Brannon, and Larry Brannon.
Kathy will be dearly missed by her family and friends, and her memory will live on in their hearts. May she rest in peace.
