Ivey Dennis Castleberry, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on December 30th, 2024, at the age of 74. He was surrounded by his loving family at his residence in Ardmore, AL. Born on December 25th, 1950, Ivey was a dedicated truck driver for over 40 years. He found joy in fishing, the outdoors, and watching wrestling.
Ivey is survived by his wife, Shirley Dockendorf, his children Angie, Michael, and Christy, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Castleberry, his parents, Miles and Annie Castleberry, and his brothers, Darrel, Gene, Robert, and Stevie Castleberry.
A visitation will be held on January 6th, 2025, followed by a memorial service at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory. The arrangements are being handled by Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
Ivey will be dearly missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
