Ivey Dennis Castleberry, 74, of Ardmore, AL, passed away on Monday, December 30th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at his residence. Born on December 25th, 1950, Ivey was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, and watching wrestling. Ivey was a dedicated truck driver for over 40 years.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Dockendorf; daughter, Angie (Denny) Stack; granddaughters, Amber and Olivia Stack; great-grandchildren, Caden and Makinley Stack, Jax Scroggins, Hallie and Cora Richardson; son, Michael (Holly) Hutton; grandchildren, Emma and Grant Hutton; daughter, Christy (James) Johnson; granddaughters, Kodi Dennis and Cerrenidy Limbrick; great-grandchildren, Paizleigh Dennis and Dalton Edwards; sister, Patricia Castleberry; and brothers, Terry and Paul Castleberry.
Ivey was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Castleberry, his parents, Miles and Annie Castleberry, and brothers, Darrel, Gene, Robert, and Stevie Castleberry.
A visitation will be held on Monday, January 6th, 2025, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory, followed by a memorial service at 2:00pm. Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for Ivey Dennis Castleberry.
